Car Protection Studio in Cairo: Our Maadi and Mokattam Studios

If you're looking for a car protection studio in Cairo that works on your car in a clean, enclosed space, we have two: one in Maadi on the Autostrad, and one in Mokattam on the Middle Plateau. This article introduces who we are, the services we offer at both studios, how to find each one, and what a visit looks like — from booking to driving away with a written warranty certificate.

Who we are

We're Layer Protect, a car paint-protection studio in Cairo and an authorised Layer+ dealer for paint protection film. Everything we do comes back to one idea: keeping your car looking the way you want it — whether that means preserving the factory paint, protecting the cabin from the Cairo sun, or changing the colour entirely.

We don't sell one package to everyone. Every car is inspected first, and we explain the options honestly — including the ones you don't need.

What we do at our Maadi and Mokattam studios

All five services are available at both studios:

• Full body PPF — clear, self-healing film on every painted panel, with a deep wash, one-step paint correction and hand-wrapped edges. 10-year written warranty.
• Front-end PPF — bonnet, front bumper, front wings, mirrors and headlights: the areas that take the stone chips on the Ring Road. 10-year warranty.
• Ceramic coating — a 9H coating in two layers after a two-step polish, with glass and wheel ceramic included free. 3-year warranty.
• Window tinting — heat-rejecting film that blocks UV, in a shade chosen with you and kept within the levels permitted for road use. 5-year warranty.
• Car wrapping — gloss, satin or matte colour changes, or details such as the roof and chrome delete. 3-year warranty.

Our packages combine services for less than booking them separately.

Choosing the right service

Not every car needs everything. Here's a simple way to think about it before you visit:

• Lots of Ring Road and highway driving? Start with front-end PPF — the front takes the stone chips.
• A valuable car, or one you plan to keep in factory condition for years? Consider full body PPF.
• Mostly city driving, and you want gloss and easier washing? Ceramic coating suits you — just remember it doesn't stop stone chips.
• Struggling with cabin heat? Window film makes a difference from day one, within the permitted shade levels; very dark film (فاميه) is a traffic violation.
• Bored of the colour? A wrap changes it and protects the original paint underneath — but get traffic-department approval first. See our car wrapping and colour change guide.

Finding our Maadi studio

Maadi — Autostrad Road, inside the Shell Out petrol station, Saqr Quraish.

Mokattam — Middle Plateau, Tarek Abu El Nour Street, behind the Wataniya petrol station.

What a visit looks like

1. Booking — through our contact page, by phone or on WhatsApp; we agree a time at the studio that suits you.
2. Inspection — we look at the paint and glass under studio lighting and show you any existing scratches or chips before we start.
3. Choosing together — we explain the difference between services on your actual car, not in general terms, and you decide.
4. Studio time — depends on the service, as in the table below.
5. Handover — final inspection, care instructions and a written warranty certificate.

After you collect the car

Our job doesn't end at handover. When you pick the car up, we go through the care instructions for the service you had: when to wash it for the first time, how to wash it, and what to avoid. You also receive the written warranty certificate, which sets out the warranty period for each service.

• Keep the certificate somewhere safe, and follow the care instructions that come with it.
• The first days: don't wash the car, and if you had window film fitted, don't lower the windows until the period we give you has passed.
• If you notice anything — a lifted film edge, or a bubble after the settling period — call us and bring the car to whichever studio is closer.

Why a car protection studio in Cairo needs to be enclosed

Protection films and wraps are unforgiving. A single speck of dust trapped under film shows as a dot for the life of that film, and a ceramic coating needs a clean surface and stable conditions to cure properly. In a city like Cairo, dust is always in the air, and working on the street or in an open garage exposes the result to problems that have nothing to do with the quality of the film itself.

That's why we work in a studio that is:

• Clean and enclosed, to keep dust from getting under the film.
• Controlled, so film and coating settle in steady conditions.
• Well lit, so paint defects are visible before we start and every edge can be checked afterwards.
